Before switching my major at the end of my sophomore year of college I was an Elementary Education major because I LOVED teaching kids about new ideas and concepts! However I realized a classroom setting wasn't for me and although it was a passion of mine so was marketing so I pursued marketing while also tutoring others on the side - it was the best of both worlds!

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Towson University. I majored in Business Marketing and now have secured a job as an Account Manager for Chesapeake Medical Staffing.My goal is to work my way up in the Marketing world, while also pursuing my other dream of teaching on the side as a tutor.

Experience

All throughout high school and into my second year of college I was highly involved in Education and took various classes, taught at a preschool, interned with a preschool and for a semester tutored a fellow student in English my junior year. I would also help babysit and give homework help to a family friends children on the side.

Approach

I know for many children just reading instructions is not enough, and for me it was extremely hard to learn through lectures. I needed more hands-on activities and would often have to attend tutoring sessions to be walked through each problem step by step which helped me understand how to apply it to other problems. That is how I plan on tutoring.
