I love getting lost in a new book or movie. I am very family oriented, so I love my family time. I have 3 siblings. I was a former swimmer now I have taken on fitness competitions and lifting weights. I love traveling with friends. I love my job and I love life!
About Me
I am in my 3rd year at University of Houston. I am a pre-med major, majoring in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and become a specialized doctor one day!
Experience
I am a volunteer at UTMB Hospital in Galveston in the Emergency Department. I have also volunteered at Clear Lake Regional Hospital as well as Memorial Hermann South East. I have studied biology and medicine for over 4 years. I have a wide work experience in the pharmacy as well as in the optical industry.
I am a Sunday school teacher at my church and having been working with children from ages 5-12 for 5 years.
Approach
As a child, I grew up not enjoying school. I completed assignments and always on top of my grades but I didn't have fun doing it. It was not until I went through high school where I began enjoying my studies. I hope as a tutor, my students have fun with me and begin thinking outside the box. I want them to explore and ask questions! Most importantly, I want them to learn with me and retain it because knowledge is power!
