My idea of a fun time is reading a book, drawing, or painting. I also love to take walks and write. It helps me relax and I want to learn how to play the guitar someday.
About Me
I am a senior Psychology major at fresno-pacific-university">Fresno Pacific University. When I graduate, I hope to attend the seminary at fresno-pacific-university">Fresno Pacific University. I hope to earn my Master's degree in Marriage, Child, and Family therapy.
I have experience as a highschool fresno">tutor in multiple subjects such as math, science, spanish, and english. Secondly, I was part of the AVID program and I learned about good study skills and notetaking as well as fresno">tutoring my peers in highschool subjects. Finally, I was a Mentor's Assistant for a college course in which I coordinated and held study sessions with students.
As a fresno">tutor, I believe that it is important to hold my students and their best interests as my first priority. I strive to make them self-sufficient, by giving them the tools they need rather than the answers for problems. It is also important for me to gain trust and form a good relationship with my clients. I not only project myself as a fresno">tutor, but also as a mentor, striving to be a positive and motivating influence in student's lives. Moreover, I feel that good organizational skills and study habits are key to academic success. I make sure that my students are ahead on their schedules so that they can be ready for each lesson.
