A couple fun things about me:
- I'm from orange">Orange County, California. Oldest of 2 children (my sister is in high school)
- I love sports! I played them all growing up and love to watch basketball now
- I love exercising and being outdoors
- I lived in Europe for 5 months studying abroad in Barcelona and traveling through other countries, so traveling is one thing I'll constantly be saving and striving for!
About Me
I am a senior Marketing major at University of Arizona. I am an account manager and project manager for AdCats, an advertising student-run team on UA campus. I am in Gamma Phi Beta, a sorority on campus and have held a couple positions in the house. Ultimately, I would love to move back to California, but I'm keeping my eyes open for marketing positions across the nation!
With one of the positions I held in my sorority, I was responsible for mentoring 3 girls per semester with any tucson">tutoring they needed. I helped them with homework, test preparation, study skills, and class projects. I am also a member of Eller Mentors, a program in Eller College of Management for Juniors and Seniors enrolled in the business college. In this program, I am assigned a "mentee" who I am responsible for; I help them with the application process into the business school, interview prep, resume development, and anything they find necessary for professional development. Apart from those two positions, I have never formally been a tucson">tutor in an agency, but have years of experience informally helping friends and classmates improve their homework, study guides, projects, and overall grades.
Approach
My last year of college has taught me what makes a great teacher, mentor, or tucson">tutor. I've held many leadership positions and been involved in an endless amount of group projects that have also taught me what it takes to be a great leader. As a tucson">tutor, first and foremost it is most important that students feel comfortable with me. It's easy to pretend you understand concepts when you don't feel comfortable enough to speak up and relay that you don't understand the information.
