I love science! Biology is my favorite. I love all things life. I enjoy math as well. There's something about numbers that just makes sense to me. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, shop, and travel. I'm originally from Arkansas, but I currently live in Memphis and attend The University of Memphis.

About Me

I am senior biology major at the University of Memphis. I have 3.67 GPA and I will be graduating in December. After I graduate, I plan to attend medical school. My goal career is an obstetrician. While my heart belongs to medicine and science, I also have a strong passion for education.

Experience

I began tutoring my senior year of high school volunteering at a local elementary school where I assisted after school with math and spelling. After my freshman year of college I began working with The Peer Power Foundation as a Success Coach at Whitehaven. As a success coach, I work in a classroom to increase student understanding by making the information more relatable and applicable to their everyday life.

Approach

Truthfully, during my adolescent years, I hardly ever struggled, but I would always helps my friends and classmates when they were confused by the material. During high school, I soon began to struggle but I had phenomenal teachers who were always so patient and positive in my endeavors.Then, once I got to college, I encountered a whole new level of struggle.
