I love to play tennis and basketball with my friends. I was also in a choir for 5 years, so I enjoy singing and music. I hope to learn how to play the guitar soon!
About Me
I am a sophomore at Indiana University and I am studying Finance and Mathematics. I received direct admittance to the Kelley School of Business, and I study math through the College of Arts and Sciences. I hope to use my love for math to become a Certified Financial Officer.
Experience
Since elementary school, I have been helping my peers with math. In 7th grade, my best friend's mom hired me to tutor her son in Pre-Algebra, and I found a love for tutoring. I proceeded to serve as a "big brother" for two years during high school in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization, through which I was matched up with a 4th grade boy to help him grow in his education. I want to use Frog Tutoring to continue helping others!
Approach
Growing up in a family with three younger brothers, I was indubitably exposed to teaching and mentoring others, whether that be through my actions or through my words. Often, my brothers will come to me to help them with their homework and I am more than willing to help. I want to help others to understand the work that they are doing, opposed to just giving them the answers.

Calculus I Tutoring
I took the AP Calculus Exam this past May and received a 5 on the exam. I have continued to practice my calculus skills in my Honors Calculus 2 class that I am taking this semester. Also, I have been successful in helping my peers with their Calculus 1 homework within the first couple weeks of school. I received an A+ in my high school calculus class and currently have an A in my Honors Calculus 2 class.
College Algebra Tutoring
I received A's in both Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 in high school. I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT.
Math Tutoring
I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT. I took AP Calculus AB and AP Statistics and received a 5 on both of the corresponding AP exams this past May.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I received an A in my high school Pre Calculus class. I helped one of my close friends to pass his college Pre Calculus class. I also scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT.
Algebra Tutoring
I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT. I was named top male student in my Algebra class, and received an A in the class. On the Algebra 1 End-Of-Course Assessment, I got a perfect score.
Algebra II Tutoring
I finished Algebra 2 with an A+ in both semesters. I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I received a 5 on the AP Chemistry Exam in the spring of 2016. I got an A in both semesters of the class. I was able to test out of College Chemistry for IU.
Calculus AP Tutoring
I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT. I took AP Calculus AB and received a 5 on the exam this past May.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT. I have been very successful in higher level math classes.
Trigonometry Tutoring
I finished the semester in my trigonometry class without missing a single point. I scored an 800 on the math section of both the old SAT and the redesigned SAT. I also got a score of 36 on the math section of my ACT.
ACT Math Tutoring
I scored a 36 on the math section of the ACT. My composite score was a 34, and I received this score the first ACT that I took. I also have received a perfect score on the math section of the SAT.
SAT Math Tutoring
I took the SAT four times in high school. I took the old SAT twice, and the new SAT twice. My scores on the math section of the SAT were 730 and 800 on the old SAT, and then 790 and 800 on the new SAT. I also received a 36 on the math section of the ACT.
