Fun Facts
Something very important about me is that I love to work on Crafts. Hobby lobby and Michael's are my favorite places! I enjoy spending some quiet time reading and drinking a good cup of coffee.
About Me
I have a bachelors degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas at El Paso (Go Miners!). I graduated back in 2009 and shortly afterwards moved to East Texas and started working for Tyler ISD. I moved to the DFW area and continued working for a Charter school teaching my favorite subject, Science. Currently I am a stay at home mom, but plan to go back to teaching in a couple of years.
Experience
I have taught 5th grade for five years. I first taught three years for Tyler ISD as a self-contained teacher. Afterwards I moved to the DFW and started working as a 5th grade math and science teacher. I also worked for Garland ISD as a tutor for STAAR grades.
Approach
I love being creative and using whatever tools are my disposal to help students succeed.

I have a bachelors degree in Bilingual education. I am a native Spanish Speaker that has worked with bilingual students for 5 years.This helps me understand the needs of a Spanish language student better and provide the support needed.
