Fun Facts
I love cats-- mine's name is Cheese! I also love traveling and went to Germany and France this summer. I've played a few instruments growing up, and while I don't play as much anymore, music is still a huge part of my life!
About Me
I am a sophomore studying Chemistry and Neuroscience at Colorado State University. I am in the honors program and have gotten a 4.0 the past two semesters! I am in a sorority and also volunteer for the Victim Assistance Team in my free time! After graduating, I plan to either go through more schooling or start working in health care or medicine.
Experience
Throughout high school, I tutored fellow students in chemistry and math. In general, I am always helping my friends and classmates with their schoolwork and studying! I love working with people and being able to help someone understand new things.
Approach
My goal is to teach subjects to their understanding rather than to memorization. For example, anyone can memorize the trend for increasing ionization energy on the periodic table, but understanding WHY it is that way will help master concepts later in the course.

Study Skills Tutoring
I am very organized and have achieved a 4.0 GPA. To do this, I had to plan my studying in order to keep up with multiple classes at once.
Chemistry II Tutoring
I took Chemistry II only a semester ago and got an A in the honors/ majors section. The information is still fresh in my brain and I am still actively using the knowledge in my Organic Chemistry class right now.
