One thing I am OBSESSED with is singing. I have participated in choir for 7 years and plan to sing for many years to come. I have visited 7 different countries and love to travel. I hope to study abroad in Florence, since Italy is one country I have not yet had the opportunity to visit. In my spare time, you can almost always find me snuggled up with a good book and a cup of coffee.

About Me

I am a freshman at New York University majoring in English. After Graduation, I plan to go on to get a doctorate from Cambridge University in English and American Literature with the dream of someday becoming a professor at a large university. I love the idea of being able to change people's lives by doing what I love.

I have been a member of the National Honors Society since my junior year of high school, and ever since my induction I tutored peers three times a week in all subject areas. In addition, I also provided service as a private manhattan">tutor within my school district. I adore working with people and can't wait for the chance to influence and inspire once again.

As a manhattan">tutor, I believe it is important to provide students with the tools necessary to solve problems and complete work independently. I work with them to develop a process that best fits their personalities and level of understanding. Whenever I needed help as a younger student, I hated feeling belittled by my helpers. As a result I strive to make sure each student leaves my sessions feeling smart and competent.
