Fun Facts

I love traveling and have been to 330 countries and 6 of the 7 continents. I recently got back from Peru where I hiked the Inca Trail with my dad. In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving and am learning to surf. I was just accepted to medical school and will be starting in the fall.

About Me

I graduated from CU Boulder in May 2012 and was awarded the "highest GPA" in my major, Integrative Physiology. I plan to attend Medical School and would like to someday become a surgeon.

I began boston">tutoring math privately when I was a senior in high school. I continued to boston">tutor privately in college and also joined some companies such as BuffTutor and the University of Colorado Student Academic Service Center. I have experience boston">tutoring math, chemistry, biology and physiology.

I have not tutored test prep before but I got a 36 on the MCAT in May 2013 and a 760 on the SAT math section and would be willing to boston">tutor either of these as well.

I find the most effective method for boston">tutoring is to begin by guiding the student to the answer. I then give the student similar practice problems until they are can solve them confidently by themselves.
