MSDE Certified education/new-york/long-island">Special Education Teacher with eleven years experience working with children Ages 3-21 with a variety of disabilities, in various administrative and educational settings.

About Me

I have recently NY area to be closer to my family. I have loved being a education/new-york/long-island">special education educator and chairperson for the last eleven years. I have gotten a Teacher assistant position since I have moved back. The pay is not that good but I truly love working with children

MA in education/new-york/long-island">Special Education for children with mild to moderate disabilities birth to adult. Received a Graduate Certificate in Supervision and Leadership.

My educational philosophy is based on the belief that it is our responsibility to provide quality educational experiences to all children regardless of the nature or severity of their disability. Special educators need to have the passion to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn and become productive citizens, despite their educational or environmental background. This can be done by providing fair, quality instruction, collaborating with parents and teachers, and taking advantage of all available professional and community resources.
