I am a concert violinist and a nationally ranked chess player. I love all sports and I am a die hard Detroit Lions fan. I am extremely serious about wholefoods, proper nutrition and fitness as the keys to living a successful and healthy life. As a member of Cass tech's H.S.Symphony Orchestra, I had the privilege of performing at the Evening of Fine Arts at the Fox Theater 4 years in a row.

About Me

I attend wayne-state-university">Wayne State University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. My overall G.P.A. is 3.01. I'm an honor student on the Universities Dean's list from the Winter 2013 semester with a 3.75 G.P.A. I plan to earn my degree in May 2016. In January 2013 I decided to go back to school. I am a Journeyman Electrician by trade, with 11 continuous years working for the City of Detroit's Public Lighting Department. After college I plan to start my own Engineering consulting firm focusing on Power Production.

Throughout my academic and professional career I have always assumed leadership roles. Being a good leader entails helping others to succeed and maximizing potential. I have always been really strong in math and I have extensive experience detroit">tutoring my friends, relatives and schoolmates understanding various mathematic concepts like algebra, geometry and trigonometry. As a Journeyman Electrician, I was required to train electrical apprentices to become professional electricians and mathematics and calculations were a huge part of the job. I love teaching and helping others to see the big picture to achieve ultimate success.

My approach to teaching and detroit">tutoring is the "human-conditional approach." I have learned from many years of analyzing personalities just how different people really are. Even siblings growing up in the exact same environment can look at life totally different. My teaching approach is human centered in that recognizing these differences allow me to very quickly see what academic level my student is on and tailoring my teaching style to fit their learning style effectively. My approach is "conditional " because everyday life in 2013 is very stressful for all age groups. So sometimes a few minutes of the detroit">tutoring session will be used to address "conditional" life issues like low self esteem, that might be hindering the mental progression of the student.
