I absolutely love Arizona! The heat doesn't bother me at all. In fact I enjoy activities outdoors and can't imagine living in a colder state. When time allows, I pack my bags and go for an adventure. I like to explore other countries, their people and cultures, taste different food or learn about new customs.

About Me

I graduated from University of California, Davis with MA in German and MA in Linguistics. The Masters program in Linguistics has given me thorough training and the opportunity to practice teaching. Among teaching I have also coordinated assignments for ESL program and acted as an off-classroom English phoenix">tutor.

After graduating I decided to keep on phoenix">tutoring children as well as adults who needed to master their English skills. I also helped small children with their homework assignments, mainly with reading and math. It can be incredibly rewarding when children begin to do well on their own. It also motivates me to be an even better phoenix">tutor whenever my students improve their grades or reach their goals.

In order to achieve success I like to define students' needs first and then focus on those specific areas of study a student is struggling with. I treat each student as a unique individual to help him/her build necessary skills and confidence to achieve their goals. I plan to do that through motivation, great communication and trust as well as passion for learning. There is nothing more rewarding than a job well done knowing that a student not only understands what he/she is learning, but also realizes on their own how to learn it.
