About Me
I am a sophomore in the Honors Program at Loyola with a Criminal Justice major and a minor in Spanish and Computer Crimes and Forensics. I am a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity, and also play intramural soccer. After college, I hope to move to New York City and do investigative law enforcement work.
In high school, I was a member of National Honors Society and, through that, I tutored each semester of my senior year. In addition, I frequently helped my friends with homework and continue to in college. Now with Frog chicago">Tutoring, I am super excited to help students succeed in school.
I always make sure that whomever I am helping really understands the material before moving on. For example, with math, I like to create problems with new numbers but the same concept to test the student's understanding. For other subjects, I am a firm believer in learning material not just to memorize for a test and forget, but to retain it; therefore, I like to use repetition, mnemonic devices, and other tricks that support long-term memory of material.
