About Me
I am a senior Biology and Philosophy major at Emory University. On Emory's campus, I have worked as an undergraduate researcher for almost two years! I have also been a teaching assistant, a university center student manager, an advanced emergency medical technician and a book store sales associate. I hope to teach high school for a couple of years, and then attend graduate school to eventually become a professor.
Experience
My extensive background in biological science coursework and teaching will allow me to well-serve your agency. I am eager to extract the mastery I have generated in taking courses such as introductory biology, biochemistry, human physiology, cell biology and evolutionary biology, and translate such mastery into comprehensible, accessible material for students. As I realized from my experiences, I especially enjoy personally connecting with students to help them strive for a goal.
Approach
Throughout my educational experience, I have found acquired a special skill in taking what the teacher presents, and digesting it into an understandable manner for myself to grasp. As a tutor, my key focus will be to simplify the material as much as possible, and slowly work in more complex components. I hope to teach my students such skills of simplification that they can apply to different courses and aspects of their academic careers.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring
In college, I took three key courses that make me well-fit for teaching Anatomy & Physiology I: human physiology, emergency medicine and biochemistry. These three classes focus on the key biochemical processes and anatomical structures of the body. I even mentored and tutored in human physiology and emergency medicine, in which I was responsible for hosting mentor sessions out of class and clarifying questions in class.

Biochemistry Tutoring
In college, I have taken two key courses to help achieve mastery in biochemistry: biochemistry I/II and cell biology. These classes overlapped significantly and have solidified the key overarching concepts of college biochemistry. Before every cell biology midterm, I would lead a group study session to help clarify major biological pathways and terminology.
Biology Advance Tutoring
I majored in Biology at Emory. I have taken courses such as cell biology, introductory biology, evolutionary biology, biochemistry and human physiology. I have also worked in a kidney physiology lab for nearly two years, in which I am in charge of running my own experiments and collecting and analyzing data. I also volunteered as a first responder for Emory, and took an emergency medicine anatomy and physiology course to obtain licensure. As far as tutoring goes, I have been a teaching assistant for numerous biological courses and led many study group sessions.
