Fun Facts

I enjoy writing stories, plays, non-fiction, and so forth. Have published a preschool book, "Robbie Raindrop and the Plum", that is available online. It follows a raindrop from the cloud through the watershed and our water system and cycles until it reaches the plum.

I have run for the Seattle City Council and enjoy volunteering to help the less fortunate in our community.

About Me

I am a children's book author who enjoys the arts and music and I have an eye for interior design. I received my Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University in 1986.

Experience

I have spent years working with preschool students and tutoring children to read.

Approach

I try to make things fun for the kids. Ask a question about if they've ever seen a rectangle or a cactus. Have them read, or read to them, a story backwards. Going over the ideas and seeing if they have questions or comments.
