About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in the middle of Washington State and have only been in washington/seattle">Seattle for a few months now. So far I love it here, but not being able to have a pet is hard to get used to. I plan on majoring in biology but have also looked into journalism as another possibility. I'm putting many of my study habits and tricks to good use already, and I am excited to share them with other students.

I will do my absolute best to ensure that you do your best in whatever subject we work on together. I used to help out a lot at summer school back in my home town as my mom worked in the school system. I have also been a counselor at a youth camp where I was responsible for a group of 5-9 kids and would teach lessons, play games, and go on outings.

I am very much a hands on person. I believe that learning is most productive when students can see real examples or apply what they are learning to everyday situations. I used to struggle all the time with studying and visualizing what I needed to learn. Making sure that even just one small area is known thoroughly is extremely important in piecing together the big picture, which is the student's understanding of the subject as a whole.
