About Me

I recently completed my Master's degree at the University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK) and am currently applying for my PhD. I can tutor a wide array of subjects and truly enjoy teaching.
I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and have 2 sisters. As the eldest child, I was trusted with my sisters' education, and helped them with work from a very age. Teaching is my passion and I hope to become a university professor of Politics.

Experience

I have tutored children privately throughout my university career. I create individualized lesson plans for all of my students, as it is the most clear and efficacious way for them to meet their learning goals. I hope to create a genuine passion for learning during my time with my students.

Approach

Everyone wants to be a good student. Nevertheless, not all children may have developed the skills they need to get there. As I tutor, I seek to develop the skills of discipline, organization, and logic when completing complex work. I hope to instill a genuine passion for learning as well. Regardless of age or socioeconomic status I have found that students want to do well for people who care about them. As such, I always take an active interest in my student's person.
