Fun Facts

I grew up in New Rochelle, New York. My first job was a dance teacher and my second job was a bartender. Now, I live in Fort Worth with my boyfriend and our two dogs. In my spare time I like to be outside.

About Me

I am a Journalism major in the Bob Schieffer college of communication at TCU. I should be graduating in May 2018, and it has been a long journey. I have gone from a full time bartender to a nursing student to a retail manager and finally a journalism student. I believe in making mistakes and learning from them.

Experience

At age thirteen I started teaching ballet. I worked for my mom's dance school teaching ballet, contemporary dance and hip hop for over a decade. I also taught students how to paint scenery. I worked in several after-school programs as a dance teacher and an art teacher.
Now, I work as the copy desk chief for TCU student media. My life is writing and editing. I love to write, to read others' writing, and to help others be the best they can be.
