Fun Facts
One of my biggest passions, unknown to most, is Off Road Enduro Trail Riding. My KTM motorcycle has taken me to places I would have never explored if it weren't for the great friends surrounding me in the sport. Wrestling my 200-pound motorcycle past rocks and over mountain passes have given me a passion to be part of the industry, leading me down the path of student pursuing a mechanical engineering degree.
About Me
I am currently a Junior in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Colorado springs">Colorado Springs. I also work at the airport as a Dangerous Goods Specialist through FedEx Express with an important responsibility of ensuring safety with every package I handle. My goal is to earn my bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and move toward designing future means of transportation.
Experience
As a Junior engineering student at UCCS I've had several individuals approach me with college algebra problems. I feel I'm the perfect advocate for offering advice on testing and homework strategies. With a strong understanding of the concepts in the subject, I inspire to help others learn and gain a sense of enjoyment with whatever math they may be working on.
Approach
As I entered my Sophomore year of high school as an average math student I decided to double up on math by taking geometry and algebra 2 in the same year. This year not only showed me that I have a passion for math but methods in recognizing patterns and understanding concepts to make math as painless as possible.
