Growing up with a sports background, I am competitive in all that I do! If I am committing myself to something I strive to receive the best results. I am the middle child but have experienced the most through travel and competition of all my siblings and therefore try to give counsel about everyday trials and tribulations.

About Me

I am a sophomore Accounting major at Howard University from West Palm Beach Florida. I was on the Dean's List my freshman year with a 3.7 GPA, and gained straight A's my spring semester. I hope to pursue a career out of the norm of accountants at a company. I would like to help my counterparts make new discoveries that can impact a field by allocating the costs and time efficiency that would ensure a timely process of seeing their ideas face reality.

Experience

I was the captain of my basketball team for 3 years before graduating high school. I was unique at this position because I was not vocal with demands and duties unless it was necessary. I was able to create a fun and hard-working atmosphere in practice and in the game because of my positive attitude and determination. I had full control on the court being responsible for making sure my team mates knew the plays and were able to execute it correctly.

Approach

Early on in elementary school I was exposed to private and group tutoring in all subjects through a program with students in my grade that were both struggling and proficient. As a tutor, I would encourage not only private sessions but in groups because it creates an encouraging environment. Even in college I have learned that studying with others can be positive, and if you can teach someone something that is a way to know if you have mastered that.
