About Me
I am a recent graduate from Bowdoin College, a private liberal arts college. I majored in economics and government. Additionally, I spent extensive time learning and practising Mandarin.
Experience
I have tutored students from all experience levels and all age groups. In the last 5 years, I have tutored over 200 hours.
Approach
My approach is to work with the students' needs. Often students come to me with a specific goal in mind, then we collaborate to design a study-plan. Other times I work with beginners who give me the reins. In those incidences, I start with the groundwork and basics.

Chinese Tutoring
I had taken all the advanced chinese courses in my college and received high honors in an independent study course with classical Chinese poetry. I am a native speaker and has participated in many campus events that require me to facilitate discussion through simultaneous-translation between Chinese and English. I have never received a score lower than an A in my college chinese courses.
Macro Economics Tutoring
I studied abroad in the Stockholm School of Economics. Throughout college, I had immersed myself in many economic discussions and research projects that have nurtured my economics understanding. I majored in Economics and had done exceptionally well in my macroeconomics courses.
