Fun Facts

One fun thing about me is that I am an extreme nature lover! I spend countless hours outdoors just enjoying the weather and meditating. I study, play, and just relax in the elements whenever I can. My baby boy loves to play outdoors now too! We call him Nature Baby :).

About Me

I am a laboratory technician for the Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine where I am honored to help families conceive children when they are having a hard time. I have a Master of Science and still hope to be accepted into medical school in the near future where I can further my education. I hope to be ultimately be a physician.

Experience

During my undergraduate career, I helped in the chemistry and biology department as a lab assistant to help students throughout their labs and provide tutoring to students in need. As a master's student, I was fortunate enough to be a teaching assistant to 24 students per semester and teach them Molecular Cell Biology Lab. I often hosted study sessions for my students outside of class to ensure their success.

Approach

Although I LOVE school and take pride in my education, it was not without struggle that I obtained these successes. I struggled with reading comprehension and a short attention span that made learning a bit difficult. Nonetheless, I spent countless hours studying in and outside of class. I found free tutoring services, created study groups with my peers, and sometimes paid for tutoring to get me through very tough courses with flying colors. I never let my shortcomings determine my path!
