About Me

I am in the third year of my Ph.D. program in chemistry at atlanta-university">Clark Atlanta University. Computational chemistry is my research area because I enjoy using the computer to model materials and predict their properties. I ultimately would like to become a college professor and run my own business.

I was once a atlanta">tutor for the Champion Learning Center in New York City. I tutored students in elementary, middle, and high school. I helped students to advance ahead of their coursework and to prepare for city-wide examinations.

Although I struggled with writing during middle school, I had a teacher who spent one-on-one time with me to help me catch-up and advance in the coursework. He believed in me and coached me, not only to learn the material, but to believe in myself. I believe that a great atlanta">tutor is a great coach who guides students to improve themselves both academically and personally by providing them with solid problem solving skills.
