Fun Facts
One thing that I love is traveling. I have been to about 15 different countries and have also been to over half of the U.S states. I also love going on cruises with my family, which is a big reason for my number of countries.
About Me
I am a Sophmore science/california/san-francisco">Computer Science major at USF. I have always had an interest with technology and computers, so I thought this would be a good path for me. I am from Northern California, but my family is currently living in Memphis, Tennessee. I have three siblings, two sisters and one brother. I am a big family person so they play a big role in my life.
Experience
I have two younger siblings in elementary school that I frequently help. I have also gone to elementary schools and helped both the students and the teachers. I often helped out my previous teachers throughout school and tutored the younger kids.
Approach
Having two younger siblings with very different learning strategies, I know that each child is different in how they learn. Each person is unique and one method may not work as well as another would. I would like to try out different methods and see which is the best fit.

Computer Science
Math Tutoring
I am very familiar with math and am currently talking Calculus in college. I know this subject well and think I could also teach this easily. I have frequently helped my younger siblings and their classmates with math, as this is usually what most struggle with.
AP English Tutoring
I took AP English in high school and am very familiar with what the college board is looking for on essays and multiple choice. I did well on the AP lit test as well. I may not be majoring in this, but I do know how to write well.
Middle School Math Tutoring

I have taken several AP English classes in high school, and am taking a writing class in college. I would consider myself a decent writer. I know how writing can sometimes be hard, but I think I could help explain better ways for students to get their ideas across.
Elementary Math Tutoring

Social Studies Tutoring
I am also familiar with this as history in general is very interesting to me. I have also found that it helps to liven up the subject in order to get students more interested with it. I have frequently helped one of my younger siblings with this.

I know how homework can be a nuance and would like to help students with better homework habits. I would lead students in the right direction, rather than just giving them answers. I think I could pass on these skills and benefit the student.
