About Me

I am a senior at UNM this year, majoring in Secondary Education, Social Studies, and Language Arts. I am currently student teaching at Eisenhower Middle School. I have tutored numerous high school students in Language Arts and Social Studies over the past four years.

I am a very outgoing person. I also tend to be persistent. I love kids and I want them to do the best that they can in school.

That is my goal as a albuquerque">tutor, to help kids to be the best they can be. I try to be very hands on with students. I want them to do the work themselves so that they can learn about their own learning styles. As a albuquerque">tutor, I feel like helping students learn how to learn by themselves is key, and facilitating that process is a main part of my job. I want kids to learn to think critically by themselves, and I intend on bringing tools to help this process about with my albuquerque">tutoring. Asking questions about why students think the way they do is important to their learning, and helps them to become critical thinkers.
