Fun Facts

Being from Michigan, I love everything about lakes and sand dunes. Summer is my favorite season, and I am happiest when I am playing soccer, basketball or running. Last summer I climbed a mountain in
British maryland/columbia">columbia">maryland/columbia">Columbia-- definitely the craziest and coolest thing I have ever done!
I have four nieces and nephews and being an aunt is the absolute best.

About Me

I attended wheaton-college">Wheaton College and studied Psychology. I graduated with honors in 2011 (overall GPA 3.74). I worked for two years with a youth non-profit organization. This fall I returned to school to get my masters in Social Work at Loyola University with the hope of becoming a school social worker.

While in high school, as a member of National Honor Society, I had the opportunity to chicago">tutor students in AP History courses. In college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Psychology department. This gave me the opportunity to extend my chicago">tutoring experience to college students. I have always been passionate about learning and working with teenagers, which is why working as a chicago">tutor with Frog chicago">Tutoring is the perfect job for me!

Ever since I was a kid, I have loved learning. As I grow older, I realize that even more than learning, I love inspiring others to be the best they can be and to achieve their highest goals. As a chicago">tutor, I attempt to bring an inspiring and positive attitude to all of my sessions. I think it is extremely important to learn the unique learning style of each student, and I work hard to do this with each one of my clients. I also believe strongly in guiding students toward the answer instead of immediately giving students all the correct answers. My goal in chicago">tutoring is not only to help students succeed in their classes but also to build a deeper love of learning!
