Fun Facts

A life-long dream of mine and one people shortly find out after meeting me is my goal to become a doctor. I wanted a diverse background and aspire to open up my own medical clinic one day so I decided to get a bachelor's degree in business administration. However, I took all of the prerequisites for medical school, took the entrance exam and will apply for admission in 2018. I LOVE science, math and the opportunity to help people. I love to shadow at the local hospital and in underserved areas.

About Me

I have my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. I concentrated in accounting and am currently in my masters program for Business Administration. I made the Dean's list all four years of my bachelor's program. I will finish my Master's in May 2018 and hope to attend medical school after. My ultimate passion is to become a doctor but I wish to open my own clinic one day. This is why I am getting a thorough education in business.

Experience

As a person who loves children and helping my local community, I spent many hours at Onate Elementary School. I would help children with crafts and with assignments.
When I entered college I recreationally volunteered my time tutoring college freshman in statistics. I enjoyed seeing the progress made from the beginning of the semester to the end and the face of students when they achieved their goals.
Working for Frog Tutoring would allow me to genuinely make a noticeable difference.

Approach

I always took more time to pick up concepts in school and had to spend much more time studying than my peers. Nevertheless, my work ethic made up for this struggle to grasp certain concepts. I want to be able to teach others that the real measure of success lies in work ethic. It is not about how naturally smart one is, but the amount of work one puts in. I will work endlessly to communicate and put this mindset into practice in my sessions.
