About Me

Hi! I'm Ms. Rhone. I'm a highly qualified, experienced elementary educator with a proven track record of student growth and achievement. This is my 8th year teaching and I have been tutoring for 7 years.I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade throughout my career. One reason I pursued my degree in Elementary Education was because of the influences from both of my parents being amazing teachers and the awesome teachers I had throughout my matriculation. Growing up in a home that showed me the importance of education and also ways to make learning fun made it a simple choice for me to study education in college.

Experience

This is my 8th year teaching and I have been tutoring for 7 years.I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade throughout my career. I currently teach Kindergarten in Atlanta Public Schools.

Approach

As a teacher and a tutor I have a student-centered classroom approach. During my tutoring sessions, teaching and assessment are connected because student learning is continuously measured during teacher instruction. This methods works best for many students because Placing students at the center of their own learning requires their collaboration.
