I have been a tutor for more than 10 years. I enjoy encouraging people to be the best they can become. I find it difficult to give up on anyone. I love experiencing new cultures and have a good sense of humor. I love reading virtually everything from science to philosophy to history to religion to politics.

About Me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NCSU. I obtained M.sc degrees in Electrical Engineering (New Jersey Institute of Technology, 2016) and Information & Communication Engineering (Chosun University, South Korea). I obtained my bachelor's degree in applied physics( Nigeria, 2010). I am a fun guy and love to encourage people to be the best they can become.

Experience

I have been a tutor for more than 10 years. I have taught high school and college-level physics, mathematics and creative writing to many students. I was a Graduate Teaching assistant in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and have held research assistant position in Korea, Nigeria and USA.

Approach

I start from the "first principle". I try to explain and emphasize the basic principles of the topic/lesson. Then, I proceed to do some examples/problems and then would encourage my students to solve lots of problems on their own. It is my belief that understanding can only be reinforced through problem solving.
