About Me

I am a Petroleum Engineer working as a Patent Examiner at the United State Patent and Trademark Office. I received my BS in Engineering and STEM MBA from Texas Tech University. I strive to be excellent in everything I do. My goal is to become and entrepreneur, own a business, and give back to the world.

Experience

Prior to working as a Patent Examiner, I taught high school mathematics for grade 9 to 12. I also worked as a Bridge Mentor in college focusing on mentoring and tutoring freshman and sophomore students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to positively impact student lives on a daily basis by utilize my skills as a professional math tutor while helping them engender success.

Approach

As a child, I struggles in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. However, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through persistence and positive encouragement, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all my sessions. I believe that as a tutor, it is my responsibility to teach not only the content, but study skills that will help them be a successful in all classes.
