About Me
I just graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in aerospace engineering. I moved out to washington/seattle">Seattle to try something new (I've lived in Colorado my entire life) in a community that is full of outdoorsy people like myself. I also studies math, physics, and french at CU and would love to someday teach any of these subject.
While at CU, I was a Learning Assistant for the physics department. This is basically a TA in that I held regular office hours for walk-in students with questions on homework or lecture material. I am excited to work with ever more students in math and science with Frog washington/washington/seattle">seattle">Tutoring.
When I study for my own classes and when I teach, I prefer to work with concepts. I find it difficult to memorize specific problems and solutions and much easier to learn a concept at a deeper level. I also believe in taking breaks from studying for activities, especially physical activity.
