Fun Facts
A huge passion of mine is anything Arts & Crafts related! I love hand lettering, drawing, painting, ceramics, and other art mediums. I'm in the process of creating my own small business on various social media accounts to sell my art and provide custom pieces.
I grew up in a house full of boys (3 brothers), so I overcompensate with gallons of glitter and sparkly projects.
I also have a travel bug in me and my wanderlust spirit will have me traveling around the world for my entire life.
About Me
I recently transferred into San Diego State University as an Honor Student on the Dean's List with a 3.8 GPA. I am a Business Management major with a specialization in Human Resources. After I graduate, I plan on earning my credentials at SDSU as well. My plan is to become a high school teacher for math and leadership. I am considering working on my Masters while I work and eventually hope to move into administration and become Principal.
Experience
I first began tutoring during my sophomore year of high school for my Calculus Club. As our contribution to the school, we offered free lunchtime/after school tutoring for students of all math levels who were struggling. By my junior/senior year I was being paid for home tutoring in various subjects. Since then, I have continued to tutor all grade levels from kindergarten to college, while specializing in math for upper levels, I have tutored all subjects at the lower levels as well.
Approach
Throughout the majority of my educational experience, I have been lucky enough to have math come easily. However, I gained experience breaking down and simplifying complicated concepts because my brothers often struggled and I was able to help them. In addition, after many years of working at a school and outside tutoring, I have learned how to apply different teaching methods and approaches based on the student's preferred learning method.

Business Calculus Tutoring
I excelled (A) in my business calculus class and became a personal tutor for some of my classmates who were struggling with the material. My grade was high enough before entering the final, that I did not have to take it because my grade would not be affected at all my the score of my last exam. It felt good knowing that I was able to help out the individuals in my class who ended up scoring very high on the last exam.
College Algebra Tutoring
Algebra is my strongest subject and the easiest level of math for me to teach. I first took Algebra in 7th grade and it truly became a building block for a lot of the higher level math courses. I have lots of experience tutoring for Algebra!
