Fun Facts

As a child, my forts were made out of books so that I'd always have something on hand to read, and even now my apartment has wall to wall bookcases. I also read everything, from children's books to young adult fiction to romance novels. I am the youngest of three children, and had to learn how to think quickly on my feet. I took Chorus for four years, and love all kinds of music!

About Me

I am a junior on the Dean's List at the University of Arizona, studying English and Pre-Law. My ultimate dream is to attend Stanford University and become a lawyer so that I can help people. I would also like to, one day, complete and publish a novel.

As a member of National Honor Society in high school, I tutored students of all ages in a variety of subjects. I also helped organize a tucson">tutoring service through my position as Senior Class President in Student Council. Both services focused on Spanish, Algebra, and English, as well as on study tips in general. As a tucson">tutor for Frog tucson">Tutoring, I can impact the lives of students who don't do well in standardized settings, encouraging them to pursue higher education.

Over the years, I have developed methods to help students who look at the world a little differently than most. My older brother was one such student, and I found ways to adapt the material to his style of learning. I don't believe there is just one way to learn, and I help my pupils find their own style.
