In Vietnamese, my last name means Corn, so in the high school, my friends usually called me "Corny." At first, I was frustrated with them about it; however, now, I think that it is really a cute name.

About Me

I am a senior, Accounting and Finance major. I have been in the US for 4.5 years, and in the first two years, I lived and studied in a community college in Houston and transferred to TCU. At TCU, I am involved in a variety of activities and leadership roles such as TCU Leadership Center Mobilization Team, International Student Association, and also serving as mentor for freshman students. With the major in Accounting, I intend to earn a Master in Accounting at TCU and CPA after that.

At a member of Financial Management Association, I usually participated in tutoring for free for students, who need helps. Moreover, in my Accounting and Finance studying group, I usually help my friends to understand new concepts and show them ways or tricks to solve the problems faster.

I think the best way to study accounting is practicing and learning or remembering the structure of concepts. Therefore, I will make sure that my students understand the structure and how to calculate numbers for problems.
