I am a very talented singer and was accepted into two universities for singing back when I was applying for colleges.

I went skydiving when I was 18 years old!

I lived in Valencia, Spain for six weeks when I traveled abroad with my university.

About Me

My name is Zoe and I am a 22 year old graduate student at the miami">University of Miami, pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health. I recently graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Biology and I hope to attend medical school one day. I was born and raised in Miami Beach and grew up with my loving parents and two younger sisters (ages 18 and 20 now). I really enjoy miami">tutoring kids and seeing them achieve their goals- whether that goal is getting a 4.0 GPA, an A on a test, or simply learning something new.

When I was an undergraduate student at Florida State University (graduated in May 2013), for 2 years I tutored an 11-year old boy with autism. I worked with him in basic math, english, writing skills, and any other material he needed help with. I also tutored and helped the other children in his class (a mix of 8-12 year olds) with any of the classwork they were currently working on. I have also been babysitting for many years (middle and elementary school ages) and always help the kids with their homework as well as with their studying and organizational skills.

My miami">tutoring approach is to be friendly with the student but at the same time professional, respectful, and encouraging of the task at hand. I believe learning is most successful when the child is interested in the subject being taught, so I try to bring an approach that teaches the subject in an interactive, exciting manner (whether that is through relatable examples or demonstrations), rather than reading only from a textbook. I love school and really enjoy learning new things and truly believe my energy in that sense greatly promotes the learning experience of the student.
