In my spare time I enjoy dancing, particularly ballet. My favorite color is blue and I grew up with 8 brothers and sisters.
About Me
I'm a freshman Actuarial Science major at St. John's University. I graduated high school in 2017 with a 4.0 GPA and in the top 3% of my class. Following graduation from St. John's I hope to work for an insurance company.
Experience
I tutored often for volunteer hours as a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Chapter of The National Honors Society. I focused mainly on math, as that is my specialty. I was also a member of my high school Math Team.
Approach
I took an interest in tutoring in high school after I discovered my interest in Math after first being introduced in Algebra. I would often assist my brothers and sisters with their homework, as well as my classmates.I believe I am able to adjust my articulation of concepts skilfully to suit my desired audience.

I've taken AP Calculus AB in high school, and got a 5 on the AP exam, as well as a 99 in the class. I am currently enrolled in Calculus 2 in college and received an A as my midterm grade.
Math Tutoring
I've taken Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 Trig all at the honors level, as well as College Pre Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus. I did well in all of my math classes.

I took this course and received a 5 on the AP exam, as well as a 97 in the course overall. I'm majoring in Actuarial Science, which is heavily influenced by statistics, as I have an interest in it.
