Fun Facts
I just recently returned from living in Panamá for a year. I taught 2nd grade at an international school and loved exploring and traveling throughout Central and South America. I am always looking for adventures whether that's hiking, camping, traveling or just playing with my pets.
About Me
I currently work as a middle school Spanish Teacher in Decatur, Ga. I went to Georgia State University and grew up outside of Atlanta. A future goal of mine is to obtain my masters degree and to keep traveling as much as I can.
Experience
I am currently in my fifth year of teaching and am very happy to be back teaching Spanish. I have experience teaching from the Kindergarten through eighth grade levels and have even been a second grade classroom teacher. I've worked in several International Baccalaureate schools and also worked with many different after school and non profit organizations.
Approach
I never really struggled in school and I realize that I am lucky to have the ability to share my love for learning with others. I have many resources and am grateful to have had the experience of working in a variety of different environments. I believe a positive attitude and the ability to offer support to those who might struggle with school is very important.
