Fun Facts

I moved from Florida to Texas last May, and I have enjoyed getting used to the crazy weather! I love spending time with my family (two cats) and my friends. I enjoy reading, movies, laughing, and the outdoors!

About Me

I recently graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida with a degree in Elementary Education. While attending college, I was a member of Delta Gamma and spent most of my time interning. I loved my time close to the beach and spent as much time outside as I possibly could.

While attending UNF, I was able to intern in several Elementary schools. I spent time in a Kindergarten ESOL class, a fourth grade math/science/social studies class, and finally a second grade class. I am so excited to utilize the skills I learned in the classroom with Frog Tutoring.

I use several different techniques when I tutor. Each child has different needs and I am able to adapt my teaching style to fit those needs. I am a very hands-on learner, so I like to provide activities that help the students learn by doing. Practice makes perfect!
