After working in England, Spain, Andorra, France and the United States, my sense of humor regarding the common mistakes we all make has just gotten bigger!
I am glad we can all laugh at some of the things that can happen to all of us on any given day.

About Me

I have been working as a professional writer and media consultant for the past 17 years. My clients range from multinational corporations, media companies, and small businesses. I started teaching about 4 years ago when I took on an ESL class at Columbia University and a reading-readiness class for 5-year olds at my local community center—both ends of the spectrum.

Experience

English, Writing, and ESL teacher for the past 4 years at Columbia Univeristy, Fordham University, Manhattan College, Language Training Center, and for students attending Lycee Francais, Avenues, LeMan, and United Nations School.

Approach

Communicative and cognitive. I never thought of being a teacher, but when it all happened by surprise, I realized I did not agree with many standardized teaching methods. Every single one of my students has a unique learning challenge and perspective, and I make sure to tailor each lesson based on their goals.
