Fun Facts

My hobbies are dancing hula, tahitian, and doing makeup. I was born and raised on Kauai, so I love anything that has to do with Hawaii. I also studied two years of Japanese in high school.

About Me

I am currently a senior at San Jose State University, graduating in December with a B.S. in Health Science. After graduating I plan on furthering my education by completing a radiologic and ultrasound technologist program. My career goals are to become a certified radiologic and ultrasound technologist.



Before tutoring begins I would like to learn about my clients, their interests, hobbies, passions, ect. I would build a relationship and connection with them so they would be more willing to let me help and teach them. My approach when working with individuals is to be as patient as possible. I would ease them into the subject and make sure that they understand the basics before tackling material that is more difficult. If they are having trouble understanding material, I would think of examples to explain the material in regards to what their interests are. I would be very encouraging and give them positive acknowledgement of their hard work on a daily basis.
