Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love Painting and Singing. Although I do not paint as often, most people usually figure out my love for Singing as I have a habit of humming tunes of songs. I am also an avid music lover. I enjoy listening to music as much as I enjoy Singing. I can speak three languages and can read and write two of them. I speak Hindi, English, Bengali. I can read and write in English and Bengali while I can only speak fluently in Hindi

About Me

I am a Senior Biology Major at Stony Brook University. I hope to graduate in May 2018 and plan to get Masters in Biomedical Science after working for some time in my field, then possibly as well as an MBA. My ultimate plan is to obtain a successful career in Healthcare field either as a MD, DO or Physician's Assistant.

Experience

I have been tutoring for past 2 years and have successfully tutored many High School and College Students. My expertise lies in SAT/ACT test prep but my experience allows me to teach any High School Curriculum as well as First year College Curriculum . I always enjoyed teaching my classmates, so I enjoyed tutoring outside of my class as well. I believe working for Frog Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content but study skills as well that will help them be successful in all classes!
