My favorite hobbies include reading, writing, singing and acting. I've participated in the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), where the goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days, each of the last 3 years. My passion lies in Humanities and the arts, and I approach learning with excitement and enthusiasm.

About Me

I am a freshman at washington/seattle">seattle-university">washington/seattle">Seattle University studying Humanities for Teaching. I graduated high school with Distinction and a GPA of 3.67. After college I plan on getting a Masters in Education and then becoming a High school English teacher (I've wanted to be a teacher since preschool).

Senior year I tutored 4 high school ESL students regularly in english and history. I also helped them learn and create their own time management and study skills. I am also enrolled in an Introduction to washington/washington/seattle">seattle">Tutoring course at my university.

My approach to washington/washington/seattle">seattle">tutoring is to use encouragement and praise, and to guide students to finding the answers themselves without giving them the answer. My ultimate goal is to ultimately make myself obsolete by helping my students to create their own skills and enhance their own abilities to conquer their challenges without my help.
