About Me

I am a senior Chemistry major at Illinois Institute of Technology. I am currently applying for my PhD is quantum and organic chemistry. In the future I hope to become a professor too:)

Experience

I have been tutoring at my university for 2 years, so I have experience working with students from different backgrounds. I mainly tutor math and chemistry to 1st and 2nd year college students as well as juniors and seniors in high school preparing to enter college examinations.

Approach

Since I tutor my peers on subjects I have taken myself, I know the topics students struggle the most with. My approach is to tutor the students as if we are having a conversation in a coffee shop rather than me lecturing on one topic the entire time. I don't give out answers, rather I make sure students understand the topic and ask them questions that help them get to the answer themselves.
