Fun Facts
I enjoy researching family history and helping families find their ancestors. I grew up in Wyoming on a cattle ranch with 4 siblings. In Wyoming, I owned and operated a daycare center with an enrollment of up to 40 children. I also love to travel.
About Me
I graduated from the University of Wyoming with two degrees in Elementary Education and another certificate in education/utah/salt-lake-city">Special Education.
Experience
I have taught for 38 years as a education/utah/salt-lake-city">Special Education teacher with students K-12th grade. Living in Utah, I had the opportunity to teach online for Utah Virtual Academy. In Wyoming I also work for Eluetians Corp, with is an online Tutoring company with taught Korean students and Hyundai executives proper English usage.
Approach
I enjoy watching and helping students become successful. The looks on their faces when they understand the material are .powerful. I enjoy working in small groups and one-on-one tutoring.

Elementary & Special Education
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
Currently I work with high school and middle school students in a Language Arts class. We work on reading, comprehension and writing skills. I have worked with many Elementary students with comprehension skills.
Study Skills Tutoring
Currently I am working with high school students to help them with organization and study skills. Study skills are important for elementary up to 12th grade. With good Study Skills students will become successful in all areas of their daily school assignments.
Writing Tutoring
Love writing! In fact I am an author of 4 children's stories. Improving their writing skills would enable students to become successful in assignments. Writing involves brainstorming for ideas, creating a rough draft, editing and creating a final draft.
English Tutoring
English involves all areas of Language Arts, including Writing, Comprehension, Grammar, and Reading. I enjoy all these areas and guiding students to become successful. I have also taught students to write and create their own stories.
Math Tutoring
Tutoring in Math is great. Throughout my years, I had the opportunity to work with many different Math programs. Taught my grandkids many strategies in Math. I am experienced in Math from K-8th grade, up to Pre-Algebra.

Love Science! I have worked with students up to 8th grade in Science. I even had an opportunity to assist students in working out in the community in Science.

Social Studies and History are two of my favorite fields in education, along with Language Arts. Enjoy the content and researching about History. That is why I enjoy working on Family History.
