Fun Facts
My favorite hobby is traveling. I like going to places and learn new cultures and their histories. My friends would call me a "nomade" because I never spend an entire year in one state or country. I also play the violin which I hoping to be good at it someday.
About Me
I am from Haiti, Creole, and French speaker. I was a chemistry major and graduated from Brooklyn College with a 3.6 GPA. I have been on the dean list during my first two years. I hope to attend medical school next year and my ultimate goal is to become a physician and work in the emergency room.
Experience
During my last year in high school, I began tutoring elementary and middle school students in math and chemistry. When I first got to the US, while I was out of school I had the opportunity to tutor math and science to elementary students. My experience of being a tutor continue while I was in college where I help my students in high school in chemistry.
Approach
Growing up, I did not have anyone to help me with my homework. I was often frustrated student when I could not understand the subject enough to get my work done but through self-determination and encouragement from my parents and professors I was able to attain my potential. As a tutor I intend to bring that attitude with me in my session. My responsibility is to help the students build their self-confidence and teach them the skills necessary to approach each subject successfully.

Chemistry I Tutoring
Since high school my main focus was science. I volunteered to tutor chemistry for middle school and high school students in Haiti. My college studies consisted of various Chemistry classes as my bachelor degree.Therefore I am able to tutor at that level.
French Tutoring
I am able to tutor in French because it is one of my first languages, and I received a French education from Kindergarten to high school in which all the classes were thought in that languages so I have a pretty good background to teach French that level.

As a science major, I had to understand that subject because it was the main subject of my sciences classes. My highest level in Math was calculus three and my lowest grade in my math classes was a B. Algebra is one of the easiest math classes which I would be able to teach at that level.
