Elementary Math Tutoring

I have taught grades K- 5 all various genres of Math they need to know in order to grasp the concept of what Math can be used for and to understand the importance of Math and how its a important factor in today's society. I have tutored Math to kids when i was working as a KIN Assistant in a after school program called KIN (Kids Involvement Network). I have also helped kids with their Math homework while i would substitute in the classrooms.

Social Studies Tutoring

Although i haven't really fully tutored in Social Studies as of yet but Social Studies was one of my favorite subjects in school and i want to share that with the kids that i teach and i wan to show that Social Studies can be fun and interesting if your let it be.

STAAR Prep Tutoring

Although I haven't taken the STAAR test, I do have the full capability to teach your child how to understand the questions and learn how to explain their answers in full detail through writing out their answers in order to get those questions answered the way they need to be answered so that your child will be granted guaranteed commended on that exam.

Biology Tutoring

Getting my Associates in Biology and I have a love for Science. I want to enlighten students on how Biology is very interesting and show that it can be relatable to today's society.

Chemistry Tutoring

During High School i was the "Go To" person when it came to Chemistry because I understood it so well. However, I do have a love for Science and I want to enlighten these students on how Biology is very interesting and how it can be relatable to today's society. I am pursuing my Associates Degree in Biology and I would like to make Chemistry relatable to all students so that they can know that it's useful in today's society. In High School, I used to tutor my fellow peers in that subject and help them understand it a little bit better.

Homework Coach Tutoring

I have alot of experience in helping students with their homework. Majority of my experiemce comes from my KIN Assistant days when i used to help my students understand their Assignments a little bit better and I helped my students gain the confidence so that they can feel like they can do anything they overcome which i think is very important to students in this generation.

Math Tutoring

I tutored a student in AP Geometry and he gained a better understanding and the confidence to conquer his Geometry exam. I'm not sure how well he did because I only was a substitute teacher for a Redirect Classrooom for one day but if i can make a student's day by putitng a smile on their face after i help them out with that Math problem then i did my job because they developed a better understanding of the subject.

Study Skills Tutoring

I feel having study skills is very important to students especially when they need to take a test for a job promotion to earn more money. I also think that developing study skills makes it easier for the student to conquer the test and to pass the test without hesitation. I know when i was school i didn't have the proper study tools to feel confident enough to pass a test because no one taught me how so i had to teach myself study tools that worked for me based on my personality and what i like and don't like and so i want to share that with other students as well.

Writing Advance Tutoring

Writing was also my favorite subject in school because I was able to create stories and be inspired by so many things in life. I think its important for students to have a imagination again and be able to be creative in their writing as well as being able to express themselves through writing. I want to share my love for Writing with other students as well as improve their Writing techniques and skills.

Middle School Math Tutoring

I can tutor every grade level from 6th to 8th grade. I think its very important that I relate Math to kids so that they can understand how it can benefit our world today. When i was in school i often struggled in Math because i had a horrible teacher who didn't want to teach me anything nor relate Math to me in my language. I was fortunate enough to get a teacher who cared enough about me to get me to have a interest in Math and that's what i want to share with my students. I want to relate to them and show them the benefit of learning Math and hopefully having a interest in the subject.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I can teach all grade levels 6th -8th grade, I recently taught 4th graders ESL at Walzem IDEA and so I think teaching older children will be a good-type of challenging and it allows me help develop their young minds into thinking creatively which i think is a wonderful thing.

Science Tutoring

I always loved Science because i get to analyze and research different diseases and cells that cause our body to react the way it does. Although i only tutored Science to my cousins when they were homeschooled, I feel that I am capable to tutor other kids in that area and I can share my interest and love of Science to others. I also major in Biology so this is right up my alley.
