Arts Tutoring

I have taken several Arts classes throughout my college career. One of those being introduction to drawing and a class geared towards teaching art to students.

Communication Tutoring

I feel I have become a strong communicator through several communication courses. In addition to that my major has required me to give several lessons and speeches in front of the classroom. Therefore I have the comfort aspect and experience.

Education Tutoring

This is my most confident subject, as my major is geared around education classes. This is my career goal and what I went to school for, therefore I would excel in tutoring this.

English Tutoring

English was always one of my absolute favorite subjects growing up. I have always excelled in these classes because I have absolutely enjoyed every part of taking them. I would be able to share my love through my tutoring.

Math Tutoring

Math is a subject I feel confident in teaching. The math courses I have taken in college have been geared towards teaching, therefore I have had to do a good amount of every type of math. The teaching math course required me to find 2-3 different ways to reach an answer and explain each step in detail.

Sociology Tutoring

Sociology was one of the most classes I took in college because the topics in sociology vary so much. There are several different ways to explore sociology and I'd love to be able to tutor in this exploration.

Study Skills Tutoring

Most semesters I finished with honors and/or presidents list. This requires several different skills especially mastering the studying department.

Writing Tutoring

I feel confident in my writing as for most of my essays through college were 100% essays. My teachers have asked several times to use my essays as examples for their future classes. I would love to share my stories and skills with others and help them perform their best writing as well.

Computer Science Tutoring

My current job requires me to excel in everything involved in computers. I am able to type up 90 wpm. I continue to learn and explore everything to do with computers as well.

Economics Tutoring

My economics class was one of my favorites in high school because of high important it is in life. Economics is something you will use forever. I know a lot about this topic to be able to teach others.

Homework Coach Tutoring

In high school I graduated with a 3.5 GPA and through several semesters I achieved honors and dean list. This requires a lot of discipline and perseverance with homework.

I have taken psychology in high school and I definitely think it is an important subject for students to learn and deeply understand for their life in general. I can give that to students and help them want to learn it.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

I will be able to work out the questions and reading materials with each student to make sure they comprehend what they are reading. It is important to ask questions and I can help them get to where they want to be.

Science is meant to be made fun and fun to learn! I can help students love science like I did in high school.

I have traveled to a few different countries requiring Spanish, not to mention how often we must use the language in the US. I have the hands on experience to teach.

Math in middle school is a good mix of everything I have continued to learn throughout college. I have done several middle school math problems in several different ways with an explanation for every process.

Elementary math is one of my favorites to help students with. I have helped all of my sisters work through the problems so that they can reach the answer on their own, with my help.

I have traveled to Mexico where no one spoke English and I was required to communicate with over 50 children and adults. This gave me skills in learning and teaching.
