I am passionate about my family. I am the proud mother of 3 amazing children. I enjoy skiing, running, and spending time at the beach. I am very close to both of my brothers and our families enjoy spending lots of time together.

About Me

I have been in the education field for 25 years. As an educator, I love to continue to learn. I have been a teacher of 3 and 4 year olds for the past 14 years. I really enjoy the excitment of learning that this age brings to their classroom each day. I have also worked as an adjunct instructor at the local community college. I have taught several different courses in the education department there.

Experience

In addition to the experience listed above, I have my BS in Education from the delaware">University of Delaware (1994) as well as my Masters of Instruction and Learning from Wilmington University. I have tutored for several years for a variety of ages.

Approach

I believe that every student is capable of learning. Learning occurs best for students when they are happy and engaged. I also believe that encompassing teaching methods, which promote students to use multiple intelligences, is essential. Understanding that each student may have a different way of learning is critical. In a tutoring situation, it is important to gain the students trust as well as differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of the student.
