Fun Facts
I love photography, reading, and writing. I love listening to music too.
About Me
I usually work with at-risk, delinquent, and neglected, youth. I've worked with adult school students as well. I've been with LAUSD since 2013, and I have tutored homeless youth (elementary and middle school) for a few years. I am at CSULA earning my BA in Sociology.
Experience
I volunteered with School on Wheels tutoring homeless youth for about two years, before I became an AMERICORPS Vista and completed a summer associates position with School on Wheels for their summer program. As a TA, I worked with adult and high school students--then, I went on to work with students in a domestic violence shelter, and now I work with probation youth.
Approach
I am patient and very observant with the learning styles of those I help. It is my job to help others learn about how they retain information and understand that information.
